About

Hello

I am a writer and photographer from Germany who has spent the last decade navigating the UK's inland waterways aboard my narrowboat. I am interested in place and how humans experience their surroundings, both in urban and in rural environments. I have recently worked on projects about accessibility, the River Lea as a place of home and connection, and nature as an anchor point for finding identity. I enjoy experimenting with plant-based photographic processes, allowing me to develop film and print algae anthotypes on my boat. I am currently studying the MA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at UAL.
